  1. Love that dizzy recognizes and respects all different traditions from various places on this planet! How the holidays are celebrated in the UK might differ from Iran or Italy.

    Have a merry Christmas in your part of the world!

  2. So cute โ€“ Dizzy and friends are adorable โ€ฆ we will likely be in touch before Christmas, but all the best to you Heather and Dizzy of course too! {{{ }}}

      1. I think we will too Heather but I didnโ€™t know if you were going to visit your mom and may be out of touch on your computer and only on your phone. It will be quiet for me as it is just me โ€“ I have no relatives and all friends live out of state or in Michigan, but not close to me. So, it is a quiet day for me โ€“ I hear we may have a white Christmas, just a small amount of snow. It can stay a green Christmas as it will be a chance to walk to the Park and I will see Parker. I will try and get down there every day, except for icy days โ€ฆ Iโ€™ll try to feed them so they donโ€™t have to go into their โ€œstashโ€ until I donโ€™t get down there due to alot of snow. How about you Heather โ€“ what do you do for Christmas? {{{ }}}

        1. I am going away with my mum for a couple of nights, but just Monday to Wednesday. We’re spending Christmas at a wildlife park! I’m really looking forward to it. Normally though as our Christmas’s are very quiet. I hope the weather is nice enough for you to visit Parker. ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel like he should have a little mince pie or something! His own Christmas treats. ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

          1. That’s nice that you’re getting away with your mum Heather. Is this the wildlife park you visited when you went back home for your mum’s birthday a few months ago? I know you enjoyed going there at that time. My Christmas was quiet even when my mom was still here – no relatives and now it is just me. I think Parker deserves another treat – over the weekend I’ll write about the critters’ special treat I gave them last Sunday. I’ve been monitoring it every day … it is supposed to rain tomorrow morning, maybe sleety Saturday morning, but I’ll go in the afternoon if possible. I think Parker needs a mince pie too. My mom loved mince pie and always made some for Christmas. I’ll have to do something special for my favorite squirrel, even if it is just a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. ๐Ÿ™‚ {{{ }}}

          2. It is the same one! ๐Ÿ™‚ I am really looking forward to it and seeing all the animals at Christmas. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’ve always have very quiet Christmas’s too. We have never been away for it before. I think Parker would love a peanut and jelly sandwich! Maybe take him a Christmas decoration to hang on his favourite tree too? ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

          3. I used to feed the backyard squirrels peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and sometimes, not always, theyโ€™d lick the peanut butter and jelly off the bread and throw away the bread in the bushes โ€“ nice!!! I didnโ€™t walk this morning โ€“ we had heavy rain and I knew it was coming so I took my car for a spin yesterday so I didnโ€™t have to go out and run it and slept in and enjoyed it. I have three or four posts to do before Christmas Day and I have gotten all my pictures, just have to do the stories โ€ฆ I am going to reblog my Night Before Christmas Poem from last year about visiting the Park and talking to the critters. Iโ€™ve never reblogged something, but if I canโ€™t figure it out, Iโ€™ll just insert the link next to a picture of Parker โ€ฆ I have a funny one that I saved where he seems like he is talking as his mouth is open. ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought it was the same park as I remember you mentioning it for your mumโ€™s special birthday. You know I never thought about a Christmas ornament and next year Iโ€™m going to hang the seed bells I bought on the trees with red bows โ€“ they were fairly inexpensive so I might do it over the course of the Winter as well. The squirrels are loving them, the birds I hope too, but when Iโ€™m there it is only the squirrels munching on them. Sometimes my grocery store has the suet on sale really cheap, so I pick some up then. Some people make their own suet, but it is quite messy, and if you can get it cheap, I say go for it. I hope you have nice traveling weather for your trip as well Heather. {{{ }}}

          4. Thank you, we’re off in the morning. I will be looking out for your posts over the next couple of days though. ๐Ÿ™‚ The donkeys made their Christmas card yesterday, so we’ll be posting that on Christmas day. ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

          5. Safe travels to you Heather – you are already sleeping and pretty soon ready to get up and on your way. I will look for your special Christmas card and I am going to reblog my Christmas poem from last year (never reblogged something and if I can’t figure it out, will improvise) and maybe take some pictures from long ago … it is a toss-up … a fun blog post about Santa Claus and an elf visiting my grandmother’s house when we were spending Christmas with her or my housework. But I’ve put off the housework for too long already. Usually it has rained or done something else on a weekend … so I am behind. I finished my post about the treats for the critters earlier tonight. Wanted to get it done a couple days before Christmas. Enjoy your time with your Mum. {{{ }}}
