CBD is becoming more and more popular these days, and it can help with a whole range of different ailments, from anxiety to aches and pains. It is something Dizzy and I have tried in the past, and we have also recently been lucky enough to be sent a bottle of CBD oil to try!

Therefore, Dizzy has decided to do a little post all about CBD, and to tell you how we got on with it. 🙂

What is CBD?

CBD is a natural remedy, which is used for many different ailments. It is extracted from the cannabis plant, and then often diluted to be made into an oil. Although CBD does come from the cannabis plant, it does not contain THC, which is the part of the plant known for it’s psychoactive effects. This means that it will not cause you to feel ‘high’.

What can CBD do?

CBD can help with a number of issues, such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Sleep problems
  • Aches and pains

Many people with MS have also found it especially helpful, and has been proven to help with symptoms such as cramps and spasticity.

Is CBD safe?

If you take pure CBD from a reputable company, it is nearly always safe to use. It is always advisable when taking anything new to check with your doctor or health care practitioner, but CBD is taken by millions of people without any adverse effects. 🙂

Our experience with CBD 🙂

Dizzy and I were recently sent a delicious bottle of CBD spray from the lovely people at Reakiro. We have tried CBD oil in the past, but this was the first time we had tried a spray, and we were very excited! And to make it even better, it came in a yummy orange flavour. 🙂

Dizzy and I got a little lazy with taking our CBD oil before, so a spray was perfect, as it also meant that we could take it out and about with us! After not taking CBD oil for a couple of years, we were surprised by the affect that it had on us. Dizzy and I were both out like a light at our sleepy time!

We also found that it has had a big impact on my anxiety. At the moment, life is an anxious time for all of us, and we did feel my older symptoms (shortness of breath, chest tightness and palpitations) creeping back in. Even the anti depressants weren’t keeping them at bay! But having the CBD oil has really helped us to get these back under control. 🙂

The only negative, is that the yummy orange flavour makes us want to keep taking it all the time!! 🙂

Have you ever tried CBD oil? How did you find it? 🙂 xxx

And if you would like to have a little look at Reakiro’s products, you can find them all here. 🙂

    1. I especially liked this one for its yummy orange flavour. They don’t usually taste that great…. I hope you are doing well. I’ve just been out in the garden planting some little flowers for the summer. 🙂 xxx

  1. Great post and photos 😊 Glad the CBD oil is doing the job. I found it didn’t help my sleep but, I must say, nothing was at the time. I still have some so I will try using the CBD oil again!

    1. It might be worth giving it another try. I find sometimes nothing helps with my sleep either though. 🙁 Let me know how you get on with trying it again. 🙂 xxx

  2. CBD can be so helpful for a lot of people. Like most things, it works differently for everyone & you won’t know until you try it. I’m glad you got on well with this. I’ve got some Reakiro that I’m excited to try, so I’ll be looking forward to that yummy orange flavour (I want to take too many chewable vitamin C tablets for the same reason!) Fab post, very helpful for those looking to give this a try.
    Caz xx
