Last week me and Dizzy had a couple of days where we were completely out of spoons (you can find out more about the spoonie theory by clicking here 🙂 ). These days can be difficult and really frustrating, so we have found ourselves some quotes to help us remember why these days are super important for looking after ourselves, and that they should not be seen as wasted days. 🙂

Do not have MS yet have FMS plus was tested for MS as have dizzy spells plus poor balance plus still do ;-), yet, serendipitously found your blog and love it and will share a link to this with my health support groups over on MDJunction, for sure!         1. Hello Lovely, So great to read your fab message- really made me smile! Think that we are on a similar wavelength from seeing your blog!Had a lumbar puncture many years ago which came back clear! Had 16 out of the 18 trigger points in the test for FMS though. Oh my gosh though that lumbar puncture made me severely ill for several weeks- it had a nigthmare effect on me! Love that you have a donkey called Dizzy. Have a Dalmatian called Sebster(nickname for Sebastian) that hubby does all the walking so he is my carer dog! He is super clever- can even tell me when am going to get a migraine as do not get auras! He frantically sniffs the top of my head- know then need to take my migraine meds! Am an ENFP so am mega resilient so am lucky and have learnt to be my own life coach and like you have a great sense of humour 😉 which helps greatly, am very philosophical, creative, have a good imagination and am blessed with some great friends plus people who love. Mystical faith helps me , too! Pleased you both loved my mottos. Having a rough weekend must admit- Storm Callum is making me mega challenged- never fare well when it is stormy ;-)- yet am holding on tightly! How are you and Dizzy faring this weekend? Looking forward to some sea air tomorrow- lucky that live really close to coast(8miles from where am)- blow the cobwebs out!

          1. Hey! I’m so sorry the lumbar puncture was rubbish for you. I have heard alot of people who have had bad experiences with them. I was really lucky and just had a slight bit of pain for a couple of hours afterwards. The doctor who did it though had a dress with little animals on, so I knew then it would be ok. 🙂 All my clothes have some sort of little animals print on it. 🙂 What do they think is causing your dizzies though? x Awww, Sebster sounds amazing! And so adorable. Dogs are just wonderful. I’ve always had collies, but we lost our last one in the Summer. x I hope you’re managing to look after yourself this weekend. I think we’re due for loads of rain tomorrow but not much so far. I’m South East England. Do you live near the Donkey Sanctuary in Devon?         2. Hello Sassy Sisu fabulous fellow Warrior :-), dolphin smiles to you from here in Devon- yes live close to Exeter so therefore close to Sidmouth’s donkey sanctuary :-)!
          The docs just say the FMS causes the dizziness. Really feel for you that you lost your collie this Summer. Know what it is like to lose a dog- our last dog Zac was a Labrador Collie cross and was a real sweetheart- was 14 years old so lived a long plus happy life before crossing the rainbow bridge. Yoga unfortunately made me more ill- did try it though as try most things once if think it could make a positive difference! Had far too much rain today which has made my pains stupid plus also triggered my Costochondritis! Sebster is amazing- you would adore him! Everyone – well nearly everyone falls in love with him as he is such a character plus adorable! Cool that many of your clothes have animals on them. If you could have the perfect health plus the perfect skills what would be your ideal job? Mine would be being either a Marine Ecologist or a Cetologist!
          Enjoyed watching SCD as well as Doctor Who! Sad to see my heroine Katie Piper leave though and wished that that love cheat comedian Sean Walsh with had have been in the dance off with a really good dancer and so would have left with Katya! Sometimes there just is no karma or it takes a while ;-)!
          You know something- we could be really good pen pals- what you think? Though do not want anyone else to have my postal address!!

  6. Having anxiety combined with a bit of OCD is draining. I’ve been struggling for years now, emotionally mentally and physically. Telling myself to relax and that everything is fine does not really work. Sometimes it‘s really good to read something that will help you get through things and make you smile. These quotes gave me a boost and hopefully it will hold up to tomorrow. Thank you😊

    1. It is so draining. I find anxiety hard enough to deal with, I did have OCD quite badly when I was younger but thankfully it is much more manageable now. 🙂 I find telling yourself to relax not very helpful too, I start to get cross at myself for not being able to feel relaxed!
