Dizzy’s discovered how to make protein bars! We really like these as they have a soft/chewy consistency that we haven’t yet been able to find with other ones! They are also super yummy! 🙂 (Dizzy scoffed the first lot all in one go…)

Dizzy’s delicious protein bars:

Ingredients:

  1. 200g almonds (whole of flaked)
  2. 8 dates
  3. 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  4. 6 scopes of chocolate flavoured protein powder or 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  5. Water

How to make:

  1. Mix together almonds and protein/cocoa powder in a blender
  2. Then add in the peanut butter and dates to the mixture and blend together
  3. During this time start adding in 1 tablespoon of water at a time to the mixture until a dough like ball forms
  4. Wrap the mixture in cling film and flatten
  5. Pop in the freezer for 15 minutes
  6. After this time cut the mixture up and pop into the fridge until you’re ready to eat them 🙂

Second batch. We were going to have one at a time but Dizzy decided it was best to eat these all in one go too….xxx

  2. Thanks! I am saving this because I will make them in Florida to have during the show season when I often need a bit of protein but not a full meal. And I love anything chocolate.
