This month me and Dizzy have been thinking all things stress! 🙂 Life is stressful anyway, but can be even more so when you live with a chronic illness, so me and Dizzy, with the help of Ami, Jen and Robert, have been thinking about how stress affects us and ways to help combat it. 🙂
Firstly we chat with Ami about her life, experiences with MS, and how she has got onto her path with bach flowers. She’ll also be telling us what they do and different ones which are good for helping to deal with stress. :). Then Jen, Robert and I discuss how stress effects our MS, and the ways in which we manage stress. 🙂
You can also potter over to Dizzy’s Dotty Team page, where you can find out more about Ami, Jen and Robert 🙂
We really hope you enjoy this months little episode, and please get in touch with any comments, questions or just to say hello. 🙂 Dizzy gets very excited when you do. 🙂 xxx

Let Dizzy know that I had my hysterectomy this past Monday! It went fine, and I was able to come home that night with my husband. Yeah, I still hurt from surgery, but not as bad as I thought I would!
Since the surgery, I no longer have pain in my uterus. Been having pain there since long before I moved to this house back in 2014. So you can see why the tiny amount of residual pain from my hysterectomy is no big thing to me!
I hope you are feeling ok after your hysterectomy Jeanette. I’m glad you were able to go home on the same day and that the pain wasn’t as bad as you were expecting. It must be such a relief to know you won’t be in constant pain anymore. Me and Dizzy wish you a speedy recovery. 🙂 xxx
Pain decreases a little every day! Hope you and Dizzy had a good 4th of July yesterday (you may not celebrate it there, forgot about that).
I am glad it is decreasing. 🙂 We don’t celebrate it here, but we hope you had a good 4th of July there. 🙂 xxx
I was a support worker, too (though the duties were probably rather different as I worked as a community advice/support worker) and the point about work stress and emotional turmoil is a really good one. You (Ami) went through a heck of a lot with all of that, with relationship, discrimination, work stress etc all getting to that boiling point and showing you what it can do to your health. Wonderful Dizzycast, thank you all for sharing with us! x
Thank you for listening as always Caz :), and for your comment. x Hope you’re having a good week. 🙂 xxx
Thank you, Caz is it? Heather told me your name…thanks for your feedback. I was a community support worker too, I worked in a crisis team and then older people’s services. There was a lot of info to cram into the interview so it was a bit of a whistlestop version of my life with MS, but yes the main crux was I do personally think stress impacts hugely on MS and it certainly does for me. Glad you were able to find some comfort or resonate with my story. I hope you’re well, thanks again for sharing your thoughts with me. Ami x
