I’ve been dealing with a lot of health problems lately and, although they’re very different than yours, reading your posts makes me feel a little less frustrated and misunderstood.
I’m sorry you’re having to go through a lot of health problems at the moment, any health problems are so difficult to cope with and I think we all share some of the same feelings with them. Thank you so much for saying that my posts help a little bit, that really means a lot to me. xxx
These are all lovely. One of my favourites is quite simple but still very powerful – “If you fell down yesterday, make sure you stand up today” – H.G.Wells
Thank you for sharing your favourite quote with us. I’m really surprised I’ve never heard it before but it’s wonderful! The simple ones are usually the best. xxx
Just keep swimming – Dory
Love this one 🙂
Me too! 🙂 xxxx
Reblogged this on Blog Pad 2017.
Thank you so much for the reblog Henrietta. 🙂 xxx
you are welcome!
Love these!!! I collect quotes and have a book called “10,000 Quips and Quotes” it has everything you could imagine in it!
That book sounds amazing! I’m going to look it up. At work someone gave me a jar of smiles that has different quotes in and you pick one out when you need a smile which I love. Think it’s such a great idea! xxx
Wonderful quotes!! I’ll have to borrow a couple of those for my powerful quotes on Monday!
Glad you like them and that’s lovely that you’re going to use some of them. 🙂 xxx
I love these, thank you! The Dory quote – Just keep swimming – is one I tell myself a lot ♥
Caz x
I tell myself that a lot too! If I’m having a really wobbly day and I need to get somewhere I just repeat that to myself. It really helps! xxx
I love all the quotes! But if I had to choose one or two it would be ‘To the world you may be just one person, but to one person, you might just be the world’ and ‘just keep swimming’! Hope you and Dizzy are feeling a lot better today 😊💗
That’s one of my favourites aswell. And ‘helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person’. I felt they were too similar to post both though. And you can’t go wrong with Dory. 🙂 Thank you for telling us your favourite ones. 🙂 xxx
GREAT quotes! #6, #7, and #8 are on my desk blotter (somewhere) and in my quote bible! 😉
Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like the post. 🙂 A quote bible sounds amazing. I think I need one of them. 🙂 xxx
I love mine and love adding to it!
Shop around and find THAT journal you can’t live without (I might actually have a dozen of those 😊) and you’re on your way to a quote bible! Don’t forget the fancy pen! 😉😉

You’re welcome!
I wish I read this in the morning! Thank you!
I really glad you like them. Maybe to read tomorrow morning as I posted it too late for you to read this morning? 🙂 xxx
These are wonderful quotes. I think 8 is my favourite.
I love that one too. 🙂 xxx
So needed this today. “and this too shall pass” is a placard on my PC
I love that one too, thanks for reminding me of it 🙂
🙂 xxx
I love that quote. I find it so important to remember just because it’s a bad day/patch doesn’t mean it will last. Thank you for sharing. 🙂 xxx
Great quotes! I needed these today…how did you know?? 🙂 It’s been an in bed couple of days, so these all apply. I love “Just keep swimming” and have to tell myself that a lot. But all of these are so applicable. I saw your email on Saturday night. I’ll try to answer it this evening but know that I am thinking about you and all you told me 🙂 Be well my friend!! <3 <3 <3
Perfect timing then! Even though I’m sorry you had to spend the last couple of days in bed too. I hope you’re feeling abit better. I repeat ‘just keep swimming’ to myself a lot too. 🙂 xxx
It’s a good reminder 😊 And thank you! Today seems to be a better day. I just need to stop stressing as much since that only aggravates everything 😕
Glad todays a better day. 🙂 I do exactly the same with the stressing. xxx
I think it’s a part of being sick all the time but only makes it worse 😕💗
These are great, and it’s such a good idea to have a list for when those bad days strike with no warning! Hope today is a good day for you x
I do love having them just as a little reminder. Glad you like them too. 🙂 Hope it’s a good day for you too. 🙂 xxx
These are great, and it’s a good idea to have a list for when those bad days strike unexpectedly! Thank you! 🙂
These were wonderful and I really needed them. I’ve had too many in bed days lately. Thanks for perking me up!
I’m glad they’ve helped make you feel abit better. Hope you’re ok. xxx

You’re warmly welcome.
Hope you feel better soon. I love your quotes especially Martin Luther King jr and Douglas Adams. I shall be taking two weeks off to play with some little Scottish visitors. Happy days. 😊
Thank you. Having a resting week. That sounds lovely, I hope you have a wonderful couple of weeks. 🙂 xxx
This is a great collection of quotes for those days. Thanks!
Thank you Anne. 🙂 xxx
Hope is what keeps a person going. It is the fuel the heart lives on. I made that one up. Be yourself, no one else is better qualified. those are two I love. xxx
Both beautiful quotes. 🙂 Thank you for sharing them with us. 🙂 xx
You are welcome😊
I love No.9. The only difference is that I rarely know where I’m going at the start, the end place is often right though.
I’m more someone that knows exactly where they’re going but then it never quite works out like that. 🙂 But I do think I always end up where I should be. 🙂
Your comment about not know at the start does make me think of another of my favourite quotes though:
‘Alice: What road do I take?
Cheshire cat: Well where are you going?
Alice: I don’t know.’
Cheshire cat: Then it doesn’t matter. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.’ 🙂 xxx
Perfect quote for me. 🙂
What a great selection of quotes, Heather!! Thank you for sharing them 🙂 loved seeing all the pictures of Dizzy! <3
Thank you. Glad you like them. 🙂 xx
You’re welcome 😊💜
Thank you for sharing these! I have such an affinity for positive, motivational quotes and sometimes forget to read one when I am feeling run out, down, or discouraged. When I first got diagnosed, I made it a habit to start every day (I did this for nearly a year) with an encouraging and empowering quote and now you have reminded me how much those helped keep me up. I am particularly touched by quotes 1, 2, and 9 – I will save these. Thank you again and I hope you have a wonderful day! xx
I use to do the same thing! I really should start doing it again because it really was such a lovely way to start the day on a positive note. 🙂 Hope you are having a lovely weekend. 🙂 xxx
Nice post and donkey is super cute
Thank you and thank you for visiting our blog. 🙂 xxx
Hello and thanks for sharing those Yoga links with Alyssa that needed “just a little help from my friends,” as the unforgettable Joe Cocker sang in Woodstock. We all do sometimes. Un baccione.
Arrivederci!
That’s ok. I do find them really good, even on days when I can’t do much. My physiotherapist recommends them aswell. 🙂 xxx
This post was such a joy to read! Thanks for sharing!
‘To the world you may be just one person, but to one person, you might just be the world.’
Never heard this quote before but really do love it, adding it to my faves! Xx
Thank you for taking the time to visit our post and comment. I love that quote aswell. I also really like this quote which is quite similar:
‘helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person’. 🙂 xxx
Aw really love that quote too! 🙂 Xx
I really like several of these so I am going to reblog them for you.
Thank you so much for the reblog. 🙂 We really appreciate it and are glad you like the quotes. 🙂 xxx
