    1. I’m sorry you’re having to go through a lot of health problems at the moment, any health problems are so difficult to cope with and I think we all share some of the same feelings with them. Thank you so much for saying that my posts help a little bit, that really means a lot to me. xxx

  1. These are all lovely. One of my favourites is quite simple but still very powerful – “If you fell down yesterday, make sure you stand up today” – H.G.Wells

    1. That book sounds amazing! I’m going to look it up. At work someone gave me a jar of smiles that has different quotes in and you pick one out when you need a smile which I love. Think it’s such a great idea! xxx

  2. I love all the quotes! But if I had to choose one or two it would be ‘To the world you may be just one person, but to one person, you might just be the world’ and ‘just keep swimming’! Hope you and Dizzy are feeling a lot better today 😊💗

    1. That’s one of my favourites aswell. And ‘helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person’. I felt they were too similar to post both though. And you can’t go wrong with Dory. 🙂 Thank you for telling us your favourite ones. 🙂 xxx

      1. I love mine and love adding to it!

Shop around and find THAT journal you can’t live without (I might actually have a dozen of those 😊) and you’re on your way to a quote bible! Don’t forget the fancy pen! 😉😉

  3. Great quotes! I needed these today…how did you know?? 🙂 It’s been an in bed couple of days, so these all apply. I love “Just keep swimming” and have to tell myself that a lot. But all of these are so applicable. I saw your email on Saturday night. I’ll try to answer it this evening but know that I am thinking about you and all you told me 🙂 Be well my friend!! <3 <3 <3

    1. Perfect timing then! Even though I’m sorry you had to spend the last couple of days in bed too. I hope you’re feeling abit better. I repeat ‘just keep swimming’ to myself a lot too. 🙂 xxx

      1. It’s a good reminder 😊 And thank you! Today seems to be a better day. I just need to stop stressing as much since that only aggravates everything 😕

  4. These are great, and it’s such a good idea to have a list for when those bad days strike with no warning! Hope today is a good day for you x

  5. Hope you feel better soon. I love your quotes especially Martin Luther King jr and Douglas Adams. I shall be taking two weeks off to play with some little Scottish visitors. Happy days. 😊

  6. Hope is what keeps a person going. It is the fuel the heart lives on. I made that one up. Be yourself, no one else is better qualified. those are two I love. xxx

    1. I’m more someone that knows exactly where they’re going but then it never quite works out like that. 🙂 But I do think I always end up where I should be. 🙂
Your comment about not know at the start does make me think of another of my favourite quotes though:
‘Alice: What road do I take?
Cheshire cat: Well where are you going?
      Alice: I don’t know.’
Cheshire cat: Then it doesn’t matter. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.’ 🙂 xxx

  7. Thank you for sharing these! I have such an affinity for positive, motivational quotes and sometimes forget to read one when I am feeling run out, down, or discouraged. When I first got diagnosed, I made it a habit to start every day (I did this for nearly a year) with an encouraging and empowering quote and now you have reminded me how much those helped keep me up. I am particularly touched by quotes 1, 2, and 9 – I will save these. Thank you again and I hope you have a wonderful day! xx

    1. I use to do the same thing! I really should start doing it again because it really was such a lovely way to start the day on a positive note. 🙂 Hope you are having a lovely weekend. 🙂 xxx

  8. Hello and thanks for sharing those Yoga links with Alyssa that needed “just a little help from my friends,” as the unforgettable Joe Cocker sang in Woodstock. We all do sometimes. Un baccione.
    Arrivederci!

  9. This post was such a joy to read! Thanks for sharing!
‘To the world you may be just one person, but to one person, you might just be the world.’
Never heard this quote before but really do love it, adding it to my faves! Xx

    1. Thank you for taking the time to visit our post and comment. I love that quote aswell. I also really like this quote which is quite similar:
‘helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person’. 🙂 xxx

Let us know your thoughts, they always make for a very happy Dizzy :)
