A short foody post from me and Dizzy today, on how to make sweet potato chips! We love these as either a light lunch on their own or as part of a main meal. They are really yummy and some weeks we will have them nearly everyday….

Sweet potato chips:

Ingredients:

  1. Sweet potatoes
  2. Extra virgin olive oil
  3. Cumin seeds
  4. Salt and pepper
  5. Any other seasoning you would like to add. Chilli and garlic flakes work very well 🙂

How to make:

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C
  2. Chop up the sweet potatoes into whatever chip shapes you would like
  3. Place the chips on a baking tray
  4. Drizzle olive oil generously over the chips
  5. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, cumin seeds and other seasoning over the chips (this can be as generous as you like! 🙂 )
  6. Pop the chips in the oven and leave for 50 minutes
  7. Then it’s time to enjoy your chips! 🙂 You can also add a little vinegar to them

I hope you find these as yummy as me and Dizzy do! Let us know what your favourite seasoning to add to them is. 🙂

Also Happy International Day of Happiness and World Frog Day! 🙂 xxx
