Me and Dizzy have discovered a new breakfast that we are a little bit obsessed with, it tastes that yummy! It’s also super healthy. 🙂
Dizzy’s delicious Granola:
Ingredients:
- 100g macadamia nuts
- 100g dissected coconut
- 100g flaked almonds
- 100g brazil nuts
- 100g hazelnuts
- 100g sunflower seeds
- 100g pumpkin seeds
- Coconut oil
- Honey
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla extract
You can add or swap any of the above ingredients for your favourite nuts or seeds. This will also make you quite a big batch so just reduce the amount if you would like to make a smaller amount. 🙂
How to make:
- Preheat the oven to 150 degrees
- Lightly blend your nuts and seeds (this should only be for a few seconds as you just want them chopped up a little bit)
- Pop all the blended nuts and seeds into a bowl
- Mix together with a generous amount of coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla extract
- Spread on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes until the granola is lightly brown on top
- Then your granola is all ready to tuck into! 🙂
We hope you enjoy this as much as me and Dizzy. You can eat it on it’s own or add it to yogurt and/or fruit.
I told Dizzy we’re only allowed one portion a day to make it last…
…Dizzy ten minutes after breakfast. xxx
Dizzy also says thank you to Sid for letting us use his photo and also letting Dizzy eat some of his granola. 🙂
This looks so fantastic, I will most definitely make this
It’s definitely worth it and not too difficult to make. 🙂 Let us know how you get on if you do make your own. xxx
oh my that sounds HEAVENLY! I will be right over! xoxo
🙂 I think Dizzy will have eaten it by then! There’s no stopping her with it! 🙂 xxx
I’m glad dizzy enjoyed her new breakfast. There was no stopping her! 😉
Dizzy’s waiting for her next batch now. 🙂 xxx
Dizzy has the recipe now! Xxx
Dizzy likes your one best! 🙂 xxx
I love homemade granola!!
🙂 It’s so yummy. How do you make yours? xxx
Whole rolled oats, aguave, cinnamon, almonds, raisins, cranberries, olive oil. I think that’s it!
That does sound really good!! 🙂 xxx

Something to eat while reading books. ~♥
Thank you so much for reblogging our post! We really appreciate it. 🙂 xxx
Your blog is lovely.
Thank you. 🙂 We’re really enjoying visiting yours too. 🙂 xxx
That looks fantastic. I make a similar granola that also includes rolled oats and sesame seeds. I add sultanas (raisins) after the granola is cooked.
Raisins are really yummy, I think I might add them into my next one aswell. 🙂 xxx
Be sure to add raisins after the granola is cooked or they go hard as rocks.
It’s funny you plan to add raisins because that’s the main reason this recipe caught my eye when Sid first posted it – NO raisins or dates – I’m not a fan of either! 😀 😀 😀 Enjoy! 😉
Lol that’s funny. Sid absolutely hates them! I quite like them though. 🙂 xxx

That sounds really good! I love it for breakfast. Its so much more filling than cereal aswell. I’m always hungry about an hour later when I have that. xxx
Hi Heather,
Just wondering if you and Dizzy can confirm whether you’d like to be a part of my blogging project? I’m trying to get a list of names together. Sorry to bother you! (And disturb your breakfast) If you would, please send me an email as soon as you have the chance. Thanks so much!
Gracie
