MS isn’t funny. I get that. But I battle MS and other life obstacles with a generous dose of humor! Laughing at myself is as critical to my thriving as ‘being impeccable for my 50%’. (More about that concept later) So when I got the message that my blog had a new follower “DINOSAURSDONKEYSANDMS” I […]
via Bring on the humor! — THRIVING IN DENIAL
Firstly I just wanted to say a massive thank you to ‘Thriving in Denial’ for posting a blog post about my blog. Knowing my blog has made one person laugh has made my day!
Being able to laugh at things in life is so important, even at things that aren’t particularly funny (like MS). It definitely helps to get through things and making people laugh has always made me really happy. It’s one of the reasons why I became an actor. So thank you Thriving in Denial! And for anyone else that comes across this post check out her blog as it’s definitely worth a read! 🙂
Also Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone!! Dizzy has decided to hang out in the Christmas tree and sends his Christmas wishes too. 🙂 xxx
Hope you received alot of gifts and happy vibes! 😀
Thank you! 🙂 I hope you had a great Christmas! x
Your welcome, awesomeness! 😀
Happy holidays to you! x
Thank you, you too. Hope you have a great New Year! 🙂
Hi, thank you for visiting my blog, it meant I then stumbled upon your fantastic blog too. What an inspirational title, I love the story behind it. I plan to contribute to the MS trust art auction again this year. Close to my heart as I work with many MS patients at our local hospice. Tell me are those sleepy donkeys in the new forest, burley maybe? Just looks familiar 😀
That’s such a lovely thing for you to do and your work is beautiful. They all have so much character! They are! I lived in Burley for 5 years and still visit often. 🙂 Always love seeing the donkeys about. x
Thank you, I thought I recognised the fence, I live not far from there, I often ride our ponies over that way, after holmsley and the old railway line ❤️
It’s lovely that way. I lived near the old railway line and it’s perfect for riding ponies and walks. I did think I recognised your work. 🙂 x
You’re right, it’s not funny but we do laugh at it. It’s there, it’s not going away so we may as well try to laugh at his falls if no damage done. I usually score them out of 10 (bad wife!)
Laughter does make life easier. I can’t always see the funny side but when I can I always feel so much better. The scoring out of ten made me smile!🙂 x
