5 words to describe life with MS…

It’s World MS Day! And this year the theme is ‘Life with MS’, so me and Dizzy have thought of 5 words that sum up life with MS for us!

  1. Unpredictable

2. Exhausting

3. Frustrating

4. Challenging

5. Enlightening

These are mine and Dizzy’s five! We’d love to hear your top 1, 3 or 5 words if you have a chronic condition or maybe just your favourite words to sum up life?

Dizzy would also greatly appreciate any help with finishing off her equation. 🙂 xxx

Dizzy is so cute and I love how the photos lighten up the message about having chronic illness’s. My three for living with a chronic illness are: impatient (I don’t like to roll with the pain and hate how it doesn’t just go away so I can get on with things and be like a normal 18 year old), confusion (not knowing when it will flare up) and strengthening (silently making us a stronger person). I have honestly not looked at any maths questions since I took my leaving cert 😂 Sending you and dizzy lots of love 😊💗

Thank you for your lovely comments Elsie. I completely agree with all your words and can relate to all three.
Hopefully someone will be able to help Dizzy with her equation otherwise she’ll be looking at it all night!
Sending you lots of love too. xxx

I adore these posts, you and Dizzy do such a fantastic job! With my chronic conditions, I’d say these words sum up my feelings and day to day struggles really well, especially exhaustion, unpredictability and frustration. x

    Awh Dizzy! 🙂
My 5 words – Humbling, Numbing, Frustrating, Exhausting, Gratitude. To explain the last one, I’m grateful for even the tiniest things now. I strive to not take things like movement, energy, and enjoying my family, friends, and the world around me for granted.
    Also – x= 2.0655…. 🙂

I completely understand gratitude being one. That’s one I can really relate too because it does make you so grateful for the little things. I appreciate everything so much more than I use too.
Thank you so much for the answer! I even took a photo of Dizzy look happy with the answer but don’t know how to add a photo to a comment? She’s very happy to have completed it! 🙂 xxx

I love Dizzy. These photos of her are very touching. I think “enlightening” is one word I can relate to. To me it means that all the circumstances of my life both good and not so good can bring me new knowledge and understanding. Thanks for this lovely post.

I completely agree. Everything brings new understanding to both life in general and I find about myself too. Having MS has made me so much more aware of just what we do learn from everything.
Thank you for your lovely comments again. Dizzy’s very happy that you like the photos too. 🙂 xxx

I really hope you feel better soon. I’m just coming out of recovery period after a relapse and it’s definitely been a difficult 6 months because of it. Enlightening too though! Keep looking after yourself. I always think relapses require a ridiculous amount of patience. xxx
